Client: AKS Clothing (Fashion Apparel Brand)
Onboarding: In 2017 for PR Services
Client’s Expectations: -To promote AKS Clothing as India’s largest online apparel brand,
offering superior quality, style, and comfort, besides projecting the image of its founder,
Nidhi Yadav, as a strong woman entrepreneur.
Challenges Faced: It was not easy at first since the brand was in its infancy, and neither the
public nor the media were aware of its existence or ownership. Even, their website was not
furnished with enough information.
Strategies Employed: Initially, we advised our client to engage in standard PR operations
and utilise tools such as a press release, article placement, and product placement to
strengthen the brand’s image in the media and among the general public. We used bloggers,
celebrity bloggers, awards, panel discussions, brand appearances on news channels, and Ms
Nidhi’s profile later in 2018 as strategic tools to encourage AKS’s more impression among the
media and audience.

Outcomes & Responses: We have successfully met the brand objective communicated to the
client by serving with top-notch PR. After gaining media and public attention, AKS Clothing
has clocked its current revenue at 170 Crore; and now it is also associated with Jabong,
Myntra, and Flipkart. The brand has achieved 595+ media coverage and many speaker
opportunities for Nidhi, including TEDx and OUTLOOK. In 2019, AKS also received
funding from Flipkart.
AKS Clothing has also received many prominent awards like the Indian Women Convention
Awards 2018, Women Achiever Awards 2019, 8th Annual Small Business Awards 2019, and
more.
